Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition for PlayStation VITA offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane for retro gaming enthusiasts. As the definitive compilation of this first-person shooter classic, it includes enhanced versions of Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition and three unique expansion packs, along with the original version of the game.
One of the standout features of this edition is the inclusion of the original four-episode Atomic Edition single-player campaign. Players get to experience the iconic Duke Nukem as he battles against a variety of alien foes in settings ranging from tropical paradise to winter wonderland, and even Washington D.C. This variety adds a layer of excitement and keeps players engaged throughout the game.

One aspect of the game that deserves praise is the inclusion of Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud support. These features allow players to showcase their accomplishments and easily save their progress, adding an extra level of convenience and replay value.
Although Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition has its fair share of positives, there are a few areas that could have been improved. The lack of Steamworks-enabled online multiplayer is a drawback for those seeking competitive gameplay.
