140 for PlayStation 4 is a game that takes retro gaming enthusiasts on a nostalgic journey back to the days of challenging minimalistic platformers. Developed by Jeppe Carlsen and published by Abstraction Games, this game effortlessly blends eye-catching abstract colorful graphics with a rhythmic electronic soundtrack that sets the tone for the entire experience.
From the moment you start playing 140, you’ll be swept away by its unique combination of stylish visuals and immersive music. The abstract graphics bring to mind the aesthetics of classic retro games, evoking a feeling of nostalgia that will resonate with players who grew up with the pixelated masterpieces of yesteryears.
But 140 isn’t just about its charming visuals. The gameplay itself is a testament to the skill and precision demanded in old-school platformers. Every jump and every movement must be executed with the utmost care, as obstacles and challenges require a keen sense of timing and rhythm to overcome. It’s these moments of satisfaction when you successfully navigate through a particularly tricky section that make 140 a truly engaging experience.
The standout feature of 140 is undoubtedly its electronic soundtrack. Energetic and yet melancholic, it sets the perfect backdrop for the platforming action. The music seamlessly intertwines with the gameplay, creating a captivating audio-visual experience that elevates the overall immersion. With each new level, the soundtrack evolves and adapts, adding layers of complexity that keep players engaged and motivated to keep pushing forward.
However, despite its many strengths, 140 does have its limitations. The game’s minimalistic design, while appealing to retro gaming enthusiasts, may not resonate with those who prefer more visually stimulating experiences. Additionally, the level of difficulty may prove to be a barrier for players who are not accustomed to the challenges of classic platformers.
Overall, 140 for PlayStation 4 is a game that successfully taps into the spirit of retro gaming. With its abstract graphics, rhythmic gameplay, and captivating electronic soundtrack, it delivers an experience that is both nostalgic and engaging. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, fans of classic platformers will find themselves thoroughly immersed in its challenging levels.
The PlayStation 4 is renowned in video game history for its extensive library of iconic titles, including masterpieces such as God of War, Godzilla, and LEGO Dimensions.
This rich collection continues to attract retro gaming enthusiasts, many of whom use emulators like Orbital PS4, PS4Emus or PCSX4. These emulators enable playing classic games like “140” on modern devices such as your computer, Android, or iOS mobile device.
However, it’s crucial to address the legal nuances surrounding emulators and ROMs. While emulators may be legal, but the situation changes when it comes to downloading and sharing ROMs. Even though people often search for terms like “Download 140 ROM torrent”, “140 PS4 ISO” or similar terms, these actions often conflict with copyright laws, as publishers retain rights over their games, even those no longer in circulation.
Of course, you can go the illegal route. However, doing so would be disrespectful to the tireless efforts of the developers. In addition to running the risk of downloading a file that may contain malware.
At RomsMania, we do not encourage or promote the downloading of ROMs or ISO files, not even for discontinued titles. Therefore, we do not host or link to any copyrighted content.

- Second-hand stores: Second-hand stores are also an excellent option, as they usually have a video game area where you can find games and consoles that you thought would be impossible to get. Besides, it is very likely that you have one near your home.
